Chris Sommerich Chris Sommerich joined the council in November 2004, after four years of managing annual giving programs as development associate for Audubon Nebraska. He has bachelor's and master's degrees in political science from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, where as a graduate assistant he served as undergraduate advisor and teaching assistant in the political science department. In 2007, Chris completed his Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) certification, which emphasizes the highest standard of ethical and professional conduct in fundraising. Chris has played bass guitar in Lincoln and Omaha-based bands off and on over the past 15 years, and lives in Lincoln with his wife, Vicki, and two sons, Eli and Benjamin.
