Membership Levels
The NHC welcomes and appreciates gifts of all sizes—all donations make a difference to our programs. Our membership is divided into the following donor levels:
Member ($45 and up) Individual recognition of gifts in our publications begins at the member level ($45). A gift of $45 or more also entitles you to receive our annual Nebraska Humanities magazine, including a special section on the NHC Governor’s Lecture on the Humanities.
Sower ($100) Silver Sower ($250) Gold Sower ($500) Sower, Silver Sower, and Gold Sower donors are an essential source of support for humanities programming throughout the state. One Silver Sower gift, for example, can cover all the expenses associated with a scholar from our Speakers Bureau visiting a school in your community and delivering an educational, entertaining program on an important aspect of Nebraska’s history and culture. Please join hundreds of other Nebraskans across the state in supporting the Nebraska Humanities Council at one of the Sower levels!
Vision Circle ($1,000 & up)The special Nebraskans who have nurtured the Nebraska Humanities Council for more than 30 years demonstrate great vision and care for the civic and cultural future of our great state. These visionaries see the need to reach out across Nebraska’s vast landscape to provide programs that overcome geography as a barrier to the best of the humanities, and help create statewide access to the humanities through generous financial support. Please join our circle of visionaries with a gift of $1,000 or more to the Nebraska Humanities Council, and help ensure that our vision for a vibrant civic and cultural life in Nebraska continues.
