Other Gift Options Gifts in MemoryAre you interested in making a gift in honor of a deceased friend or loved one? Please be sure to fill out the appropriate information boxes on the online donation form indicating the name of the deceased the gift is honoring and anyone to contact to acknowledge the gift.
Recurring GiftsIf you wish to set up your gift to occur automatically on a periodic basis (monthly, quarterly, etc.), please be sure to check the recurring gift box on the online donation form and select your preferred timeframe.
Stock GiftsIf you are interested in making a gift of stock, please send an e-mail to chris@nebraskahumanities.org to receive instructions for delivering your gift, or call Chris Sommerich, Development Officer, at 402-474-2131 ext. 105.
BequestsPlease consider including the Nebraska Humanities Council in your will. For an unrestricted bequest gift, sample language is: “I give to the Nebraska Humanities Council, a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization with its headquarters located at 215 Centennial Mall South, Lincoln, NE 68508, ___% of my residuary estate for its ongoing humanities programs.” If you wish to add language to restrict your gift to specific programs, please contact Chris Sommerich, Development Officer, at 402-474-2131 ext. 105, or chris@nebraskahumanities.org. We also encourage our donors to consider a bequest to the Nebraska Cultural Endowment, which benefits the programming of the Nebraska Humanities Council and the Nebraska Arts Council (see below).
Workplace GivingThe Nebraska Humanities Council is a member agency of the Community Services Fund (CSF). CSF promotes responsive philanthropy through workplace campaigns that offer a broad range of choices and enable individuals to donate directly to organizations working to improve the quality of life in Nebraska.
